The emblematic liqueur of the Spritz cocktail is on BienManger: Campari bitter. A bitter and grassy taste with notes of orange.
Recognizable among other things by its golden crown-shaped logo, Campari is an Italian liqueur with a translucent red color.
Consumed either on its own, or – most often – in the form of a cocktail with sparkling water, prosecco and orange zest to form the famous Campari Spritz, this liqueur has a bitter flavor on the palate, with herbaceous notes.
Invented by Gaspare Campari, the recipe for this liqueur is still carefully preserved. What we do know is that this red color is due to a dye from small Cochineal insects.
Campari Spritz Recipe: Mix 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Campari and a splash of sparkling water. Without forgetting a beautiful slice of orange placed on the glass!
